Natural henna for eyes and lips

Postby amethyst on Fri Jan 30, 2009 1:16 pm

I tend not to go with the hype but something just caught my eyes. There is this new company that claims it does these 100% natural henna products for lips and eyes( pens type) that are semi-permanent. I really like the idea and next month I am placing an order.

Has anyone tried it??? What do you guys think?

I am one curious bunny.

Oh I almost forgot about this threat. News is that I got the henna pens for my lips and they are absolutely amazing. It does not smudge or feathers. Is basically like a paint that dries on your lips really quickly. They have a really intense colour to them. I use their own brand of lip gloss too but I noticed I can use any other brand as it just as great for the shine and moisture

The only downfalls is that this will stain the lips for days and you can't wash it off unless you really rub it off which can be too harsh for the lips.It can also be a bit tingly for the lips when first applied. When is starts to wear off usual after about 20 hours( unbelievable) it might wear off in weird patched. Nerveless amazing stuff! Oh and it might oxidise in a dark burgundy with purplish tones trough the day. I got a few pens especially the red selection, and is a very subtle difference between them, in the end they all oxidise in the same way. I did not tried the brown shades at all, might give them a try one day but I am a red lipstick girl. I love the dark red so much also, I am in love with this products! You can party in this all night and day off and my husband is not afraid of kisses any more.Honestly it just won't rub off.

They eye pens are not so long lasting and the colour can be easily removed with any make-up remover, I was not particularly impressed with them but still they are great for a touch up in my purse
